About

I am an artist / printmaker based in The Forest of Dean. I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Art, Health & Wellbeing due to finish September 2018.

Interested in the human condition around connection to place, freedoms and community, I work in a multitude of ways, facilitating workshops in Art, health & wellbeing, organising community projects, collaborating and colluding.

As a printmaker I am fascinated by processes, the alchemy of etching, the beauty of a carved woodblock, the magic of ‘pulling a print’ to reveal something unexpected. As well as working as a freelance artist I also work part time as a printmaking technician at The University of South Wales. I maintain and manage a print workshop and instruct students in various print processes.

I enjoy the process of transformation, whether that be witnessing a piece of wood become a woodblock print or a person feel transformed after being part of a community project or learning a new skill.
